Helmet

A helmet and reflective Belt is obligatory in Costa Rica. We welcome you to bring your own. Else, Helmet and reflective belt can be rented for 2500 Colones per day. If you plan to do more riding here, we also have some models for sale. 

Camping Gear

A basic camping gear set including Tent or Hammock with Mosquito-netting, an inflatable mattress or foam matress and a battery powered headlamp can be added to your experience for 5000 Colones/day

Protective Gear

We have a limited collection of high quality protective gear suited for the local climate for rent. Usually it will have a large area of mesh and include shoulder and elbow protectors. Some back protectors are available at request. Please understand that our rental prices reflect that this kind of protective gear is difficult to obtain in Costa Rica and usually has a much heftier price tag than in your home country. We rent a set of pants and jacket at 6000 Colones/day. This rental will include rain protection. If you choose to just rent rain protection we charge 1000 Colones/day. If you wish to rent clothing we recommend to come half an hour before your rental period starts for fitting. We also rent off road protectors for 5000 Colones/day. At this time we do not stock motorcycle boots but you can rent rainboots for muddy rainforest hikes at 1500 Colones/day.

GPS/Satellite 

You can choose to rent a Garmin InReach Mini GPS and Satellite Communicator including up to 3 messages for 5500 Colones/day

Motorcycle Bags/Luggage

For tours lasting longer than a day motorcycle sidebags are very convenient for your camping equipment and food. A pair of waterproof sidebags 2x24l can be rented for 3000 Colones/day. A 30l waterproof backpack for your helmet and your adventure for 1500 Colones/day. A 10l waterprotected tank-bag for 500 Colones/day.

If you love the bags we sell the waterproof 30l Topbag for 75,000 Colones, the adventure Sidebags 2x 24l for 110,000 Colones, the 30l waterproof backpack for 50,000 Colones. During your rental period you can leave your suitcases for free locked up at our basecamp. If you are not renting or travellng with us you can nevertheless take advantage of luggage storage for 4500 Colones/day.
