Overnight Waterfalls Motorcycle Tour
Camp under the Stars with a stunning View includes Dinner and Breakfast
Service Description
Your adventure begins in Jacó, where you set off along the coastal road. Behind Parrita, the scenery shifts—here, you’ll ride into the first small Tico community, a welcoming village untouched by mass tourism. Ride at your own pace, and if you wish, take a pause at a quiet palm-fringed beach where locals gather, with endless sand and shade for a peaceful stroll. Your first destination is a riverside small local Tico community embraced by jungle and mountains. Here, you’ll join locals to prepare a traditional Costa Rican lunch. Grind fresh corn, cook golden arepas, and fry yucca over a wood fire stove—everything made from ingredients harvested minutes earlier. While you savor the food you helped create, hear firsthand stories of how the palm oil industry shaped local lives. Back on your motorcycle, the paved road fades into winding dirt tracks. The air cools as you climb into the hills, surrounded by lush rainforest, on your way to a charming overnight retreat near hidden waterfalls. Evening With the Huetar At your hillside campsite, with sweeping views of valleys and rainforest, you’ll set up a tent or hammock under the stars. After a delicious dinner prepared by your hosts, gather around the fire for an unforgettable cultural exchange. Descendants of the Huetar people—once one of Costa Rica’s most powerful Indigenous nations—will share their knowledge, stories, and traditions. Their language vanished centuries ago, but their wisdom of the land and spirit of resistance endure. As you roast marshmallws by the fire, you’ll feel part of their living legacy. At sunrise, enjoy again the panoramic views while your hosts prepare a traditional breakfast for you before setting out on a short, easy hike to a series of waterfalls guided by your Huetar hosts. The crystal-clear pools invite you for a refreshing swim. Explore, and capture stunning photos. When it’s time to return, you’ll ride back at your own pace. Choose the easier route or take on a longer, slightly more adventurous trail depending on your confidence, skills, and the day’s conditions. Either way, you’ll carry home not only the thrill of the ride but also the warmth, hospitality, and ancient spirit of the Huetar people.
